The MA Animal Welfare, Ethics and Law is structured in three semesters, the third being dedicated to the writing of the Dissertation. Each semester (this applies only to the 1st and the 2nd) consists of at least 11 full teaching weeks; students are required to accumulate 60 ECTS by taking 3 compulsory and 1 elective module in each teaching semester (6 compulsory and 2 elective modules in total) before they proceed to the Dissertation stage.
