Vicky Protopapadaki holds a MSc in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare (Distinction) from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies of the University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of the Aegean. She researched feline behaviour and welfare at the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada, and initiatives and gaps in animal welfare education in Europe at the Institut de recerca i tecnologia agroalimentaries in Spain; she has published research in both fields. She is a research associate of the MA Animal Welfare, Ethics and the Law and is responsible for the scientific and administrative management of the programme, while also working as a scientific editor in the animal sciences and as an animal studies tutor for a private college in the UK.

Maria Zanou holds a BA in Philosophy from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is a Research Fellow at the NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory, and since 2023, she has served as an Associate Editor of Conatus: Journal of Philosophy, the international, English-language, biannual, open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by the Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory and the National Documentation Center. Additionally, she has participated in Erasmus+ KA1 and other domestic and international research projects, coordinated international summer schools organized by the NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory, and provided organizational and secretarial support for conferences.

Vicky Bafataki holds a degree in History and Archaeology (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), Communication & Media (Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences), Italian Language and Literature (University of Perugia) and MSc's in Cultural Organisations Management (Hellenic Open University) and in Bioethics (Democritus University of Thrace). She is a Ph.D. candidate in Bioethics (Democritus University of Thrace). In 2005 she was awarded the World Prize for Cultural Communication from the Giuseppe Sciacca International Awards, Vatican City. Currently she is the General Secretary of the Giuseppe Sciacca International Awards (Vatican City), Vice President of ISGESI (Rome), Vice President of the Panteion University Graduate Association 'Aristotle', and a volunteer to various activities and projects.
